The ALoft Hotel (as in "A Loft") is in an absolutely fantastic, ritzy suburban location. The numerous upscale mall-type stores nearby make a great morning walk or shopping experience. There are TWO excellent sushi restaurants, one being right next door. Our room was quite spacious, in a modern minimalist style, so space allocation is a bit weird, but still very functional. The steamy shower and huge, clean bed were fantastic. The very readable and simple thermostat worked exceptionally well. The view was really nice, overlooking a small park, with two tall windows that could be shut completely. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Staff members were easy to contact, but stayed out of the way. The breakfasts are a bit Spartan and "to go" (some nice places to sit down if you want), but there are lots of healthy options, and the cooked-to-order breakfast sandwiches are quite good. There are a few quality breakfast options nearby, but many more options for lunch and dinner. The free parking garage is convenient and close by.

With respect to location, we were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant options in the very immediate area. We could not have been happier. Free parking was safe. The complementary made-to-order breakfast was excellent We plan to return. We didn't take advantage of the on-site bar offering.
